CALL FOR ENTRIES: 3rd Ward Fall Group Show

call-for-entries3
3rd Ward in Williamsburg, Brooklyn has issued an open call for their Fall Group Show, which is an opportunity I would counsel all budding career photographers to not let pass them by. This competition is, according to 3rd Ward, “an international search for the best new work from emerging photographers.” Beyond the exposure of having your photography exhibited in the renown gallery space, one winner will get a $500 prize and a 3rd Ward bike (!), and the top 25 photographers will also have their work exhibited in the show, will be featured in 3rd Ward’s quarterly print publication, get a one month membership at 3rd Ward with access to their photo studios and heavy local exposure. The contest is taking submissions until August 7, 2009 at 11:59pm (EST). Fore more information, go to the 3rd Ward website here.
