The Trashcam Project: German Dumpster Turned Pinhole Camera

A group of garbage men in Hamburg, Germany have turned a large trash dumpster into a pinhole camera, and have been recording stunning shots of the city on their route. The Trashcam Project on Flickr records this series, with each photo caption explaining the often lengthy exposure time and back story of the shot. This project is truly fascinating and will definitely serve as inspiration for photographers the world over.

Mark, a Huntington Beach, CA native, a surfer, and a former doctor, has traveled to the best breaks all over the world to shoot some of the greatest surfers of our time and pay homage to the Hawaiian tradition that now spans the globe.
