The submission phase has officially opened for the Red Bull “Illume” photo contest. “Only action and adventure sports images that capture the culture and lifestyle surrounding these sports may be submitted,” according to the official rules. The submission phase takes place between October 1, 2009 and January 31, 2010, so you still have time to get out there and shoot winter sports! Although you may use images you’ve previously shot, the official rules also indicate that they must have been taken after January 1, 2007. For more information on the contest and to see a gallery of past winners’ images, visit the official Red Bull Illume contest website.
