The Palm Springs Photo Festival kicks off on March 29th, offering photographers of all levels a week of seminars, symposiums, portfolio reviews and workshops, one of which is being taught by renown documentary photographer Steve McCurry. McCurry captured the iconic shot above for
National Geographic
in 1985 and then famously re-shot the same captivating Afghan woman 17 years later for the publication. He will be leading the workshop entitled ” A Master Class in Documentary Photography”. Another example of the Festival’s great lineup of workshops is the “The Digital Landscape”, which will be taught by acclaimed digital master John Paul Caponigro.
